What is the Elko County Republican Party?

The Elko County Republican Party (ECRP) is made up of all registered Republicans in Elko County.  To register as a Republican, simply mark the appropriate party affiliation box when registering to vote.  You may do this at the County Clerk’s office located at 3rd Floor, 571 Idaho Street, Elko County Court House, in Elko.

 

Who can be a member of the ECRP?

Anyone eligible to vote may become a member of the ECRP simply by registering as described in the previous question.

 

What is a precinct?

NRS 293.077 states:  “Precinct” means the smallest voting area in a political subdivision.  It is simply your neighborhood.

 

How do I find out what my precinct is?

If you are already registered to vote, your precinct should be on the front of your voter registration card.  If you have not yet registered to vote or if you cannot find your voter registration card, you can find your precinct by calling the Elko County Clerk office at 775-753-4600.  You can also find your precinct by going to the Secretary of State’s website and entering your information here: http://sos.state.nv.us/elections/.
